I would add to the list C7 and C8 (prepare to wait). I would also add 991.2. While I love the 991.1, the extra usable turbo power in the 991.2 is pretty intoxicating. And instead of a new Cayman GTS, I would look at a '15-16 GTS. However, similar to the 991.1, once you drive the flat 4 GTS, you will not be as impressed. Also some Porsche-files claim the flat six is just wonderful sounding but in order to get that sound, you have to really flog it all the time which just isn't feasible unless it's a track car. If you aren't opposed to flat 4, due to racism, you can get a great deal on a 17-19 Cayman/Boxster that will outperform almost anything out there.
