Tools Required:- Heat Gun
- Painter's Tape
- Adhesive Promoter
STEP 1: Apply a painter's tape border around the side grille area. This will protect the OEM paint and the base of the side grille from marring during the removal process.
STEP 2: Use a heat gun to carefully soften the adhesive backing to the OEM side grille insert. The side grille insert should be warm to the touch, but take caution to ensure you do not burn any of the side grille elements.
STEP 3: Carefully pry the OEM side grille insert away from the base. Once removed, clean off any remaining adhesive residue to ensure the Autotecknic replacements have a uniform surface onto which to adhere.
STEP 4: Apply adhesive promoter to the side grille base and remove the tape guide. Expose the adhesive on the Autotecknic side grille insert replacements and, with uniform pressure, align and install it onto the grille base.
