I have done all the wrapping myself. It's a learning process for sure. Not perfect, but as I have gone along, I have learned some techniques that seem to work to make sure there aren't lots of bubbles or lines. I think in general taking the parts off the car to wrap them is much easier and avoids the possible damage to soft rubber pieces, especially around the window trim. Also, definitely use 3M brand vinyl. It's more expensive but a MUCH better product. It stretches and bends much more easily even before adding heat. The window trim is challenging unless you take it off the car. Actually the easiest piece was the curved part around the cargo window- that piece comes off very easily- just pull and it comes off the car. I did the rest of the trim while it was still on the car
