I think maybe you are misreading and/or misunderstanding something. We are discussing the touchscreen which when it wasn't available affected all vehicles that were being built no matter when they were ordered or how they were configured. In addition to that being stated by BMWNA it is what we saw from both our members and what arrived on dealer lots.
Not sure why you are saying the touch isn't back, it obviously is and I think you even said so on a thread or two. It likely may be temporary but right now all G05s being built have the touchscreens from the data we have seen from our members as well as checks of the VINS being produced. |
What everyone is seeing are the week 44 and other earlier week builds that were pushed to week 47 or later that already had touch, hitch, etc. reserved. My point was if the fellow's X5 was a recent order w/touch they wouldn't have had a hitch.
In a few more production weeks we will see touch and non-touch being built.
