Very few, if any, dealers will allow you to delay the pickup for that length of time so that isn't really a feasible tactic. I guess you could pay them to do so but that could open a can of worms also. |
It was in response to someone who might only need to delay a week or two. That's definitely possible since the arrival time is such an estimate and people could easily be out of town and need to delay a week or so. Probably happens often.
If interested in PCD, that would likely also delay by a couple weeks at minimum and given the options they give you, one could choose a later option delaying PCD by a week or two and the delivery as a whole by about a month.
