I mean, it's completely fine to prefer a rebate explanation that requires lots of words, "nuance", a history lesson, and many tables. It's also fine to prefer an explanation that's simple, succinct, and easily actionable - something in less than a sentence ... something like:
The PenFed rebate is available to members - anyone can join - with at least 60 days of membership; if your dealer questions the rebate code, ensure they're coding the rebate as "type j" instead of "type g".
Our forum members can pick which explanation they'd rather use.
