Is there any way to get the oil cooler as as stand-alone retrofit? If so, any guesses on pricing? I have no interest in the rest of the sport package, but if the price of the cooler/installation is over $500 by itself (ignoring any possible warranty problems, of course), then it may make sense to bite the bullet and order the sport package anyway.
I agree when someone else said that it should be standard. I don't like how BMW is counting pennies when my car's long-term reliability is possibly at stake.
