in colorado the wife has to dam near be a heroin addict that routinely kills people to not get custody.
recently a friend got divorced where the wife just up and left and wanted nothing to do with the kids. My friend still had to fight the court tooth and nail to get custody of them, and then fight to not have to pay her any alimony.
