At 5k omega speedmaster had always been a great watch. But the Apple iWatch, beside needing charging, i think has upended the market except if u travel and can't charge.
I wouldn't spend money on a Rolex or omega. But that's just me.

Entry level IWC can be had near that and are much better watches IMO.
How? Entry level IWC uses the same ETA movement found in most watches that sell for less than $500. It is not superlative chronometer certified and the construction of the case and material is not as durable.
If you want to discuss solely design of the IWC, then that is another conversation.
