I would say it will be the same process as dealership.
I am also still waiting on the full detail and steps on the procedure.
I don't think it is a big deal since I have been selling RaceChip for 5+ years and I haven't got any blown motor to any of my customers who bought from me.
I even used it on my personal cars even to my current F97 X3M Competition.
