Was seeing it on the M8C vital to your decision on that particular color or just going with something different due to BMW M offering limited color palettes lately? And BMW Individual paint notwithstanding.
It looks like a "moody" color depending on direct or indirect light. Can't wait to see it and I am quite certain you cannot wait either.
BMW tends to get dark reds and similar hues spot on. One of my favorites is Mora Metallic that was on E46 Coupes.
