You can have both MPH and KPH displayed on the dash at the same time. I believe if you change the settings to use KPH as the default when in the EU it should be fine and read the signs correctly. There is also a setting for adjusting your headlights to driving on the other side. Not sure if this is available on all models. I have lasers and that setting is available.
