Do we know where the iDrive nav gets its real-time traffic information from? I guess it is a third party service but I wonder if the data is from crowdsourced data. |

Think the source might vary by region but TomTom seem to be the strategic choice for map and traffic data. The routing engine is definitely not developed by TomTom though.
