I agree, I'd prefer not to have that extra black trim under the grille.
Its slowly growing on me though, I still don't like it but it doesn't bother me as much.
The headlights are also growing on me. All the little details in the DRLs when looking up close are impressive. And while I miss the angel eye look, this does look more aggressive to me.
I just hate that DRLs are shared with turn signals.
