I understand the confusion since I realized that a non M-Sport X5 50i is actually priced as an M550i currently which make it even more interesting to see where the M50i price will land. Will BMW make the entry level V8 X5 carry a $20k gap or more to the 40i? Probably, but not if it follows the 5 series pricing.
