So, by your analogy the F15 is the same as the G05…….. Four wheels, four doors, an engine, similar size, AWD.
BMW has been making 4.4 V8s for a bit now. Maybe its a size they like. Just bacause two things share a displacement and turbo location, does NOT mean they are the same.
