I got the same install area and brand you are quoting, he even wrapped my roof around the moonroof in gloss black to match the black trim and I paid $1200, but of course in a different state and in the midwest, so I think for NYC, that would be a reasonable price. Have had it on since Dec 2018 and is holding up well.
