I think you more or less have to calculate electricity-based mileage the way you would for gas.
Use electric only for one or more periods of driving.
Tally up the total kWh used to charge the car over that period of time.
Calculate the total you paid for that much electricity.
Figure how many miles you went per dollar, and compare with how many miles you would go per dollar of gasoline.
It seems like that would be the easiest way to cover all the variables such as how much energy the battery actually stored and how much electricity was used for things that do not actually move the car...?
