Now I did see a Urus the other day and was admittedly intimidated and *probably* wouldn't have tested him/her in a straight line from a red light. However, the operative word is "probably" --- talk to me after a few Hibiki's and I might change my mind --- the next day after I'm sober and have all my faculties.

The X6M walks the urus if there is no launch control involved. The Urus's launch control really is amazing. There's a good video with X6M vs Urus and this is the exact outcome. With launch, the Urus beats the X6MC by about half car length and without launch control the X6M wins by an ever bigger margin. |
You sure? (Now I'm questioning if I'm sure..) the video I saw, from carwow, the Urus lost both drag races and the rolling race while in comfort mode. It won the rolling race in sport setting and I can't recall the brake test.. (BMW has come a long way with its launch control) |
I've seen many videos by different posters where the Urus loses without launch mode. With launch mode it's pretty close, and close enough to justify saving 100k and sticking with the X5MC. Call me crazy, I really don't like the look on the Urus so I probably wouldn't get one even if I could.
