I live in Chicago too. I just swtich back from 22” wheel staggered 275 front and 315 rear pirelli P Zeor Pz4 to my oem 741 M 20” all season tires continental this morning. It was because heavy snow yeasterday and my car spin around at the light , lucky nobody there. I did not drive fast but seem like performance tires are really poor on snow.i personally dont like RF tires because it feel more stiff and you can feel the different when change to non run flat. The good thing for run flat is you can continue driving about 80 miles. My runflat tires on previous X1 was leaking and i have to drive back to the city which is around 40 miles. However, you have to drive slowly anyway. If you have wheel and tires warranty with dealer bad thing is that you cant fix them by outside tires shop otherwise waranty will be cancel! Have to bring in any dealer which irritating.
