I actually thought the muffler was a 2-out muffler.... with tailpipe splitters.
Presumably it's a 4-out muffler?

I should of taken some pics when it was up on the lift.
Essentially it is 2 seperate pipes coming from the headers/downpipes to the resonator and continuing as 2 pipes down to the muffler where it then branches out to 4 pipes (outlet from muffler) (that is where the exhaust flaps are mounted)
The exhaust flaps are one on each side so you'll get 1 open pipe from each side when valves are closed.
