I never understood the point of soft close doors unless you have some disease that prevents you from using 1% of your available strength to give the door enough momentum to fully close.
My GF has softs on her 2016 X6 and never notice them since I don't pussy foot the doors?
Just a solution to a problem that doesn't exist and creates a point of failure.
