I had a 40i loaner last time my G01 was in for service and ordered a 45e. The standard air suspension is nicer on the 45e and the electric motor gives it more low end torque. I only passed on my 45e order because a different order I had placed came in first and was the preferred option. Overall, the improved efficiency and comfort is enough of a reason to go 45e, the federal tax credit is just icing on the cake. Oh, and keep in mind, 45e has the inline 6 as the ICE, not a 4 cylinder like the 40e has.
