Yeah, that's our issue too and I can tell you that the running boards make it worse. They are too narrow to be functional, they are just ornamental. They are not at the right height to actually help you get in or out and actually end up adding a few inches you have to try to get over to get in or out. Just get used to dirty pant legs
Maybe you can get yourself on a torture stretcher rack and elongate your legs
