My X5 40i was dropped off at BMW on Tuesday this week to have a trim replaced and there was apparently a recall to have some electronics fixed up.
The dealership tried to update my software or do some software coding but it since keeps crashing. They've tried multiple times to reinstall the software to no luck. Got a call today saying they're closer to getting the software sorted, but now the indicator lights wont switch off, so they need to keep it for a few more days to resolve.
I've got a 3 series loan car. Makes me miss the size of my X5.
The customer service at the dealership has been great and communication has been good, so i don't mind waiting it out.
