I'm betting a total of zero people in this thread know leather more than choosing it on an option list. All I see is a bunch of people jumping to conclusions about something they know nothing about.
I've never been a member of a BMW forum and never believed the stereotypes but the past few months in here has been rethinking my choice.

I don't think knowledge shaming will work in this case. I don't have to have a degree in leather manufacturing to know that this seat looks like a piece of crap.
