I picked the XXL and it was a good decision. 610L storage space is very nice. I can fit many things in that box.

Thanks - your post and picture were very helpful. I just picked up the L size as well (from Amazon). My reasons were three fold:

First, I don't want my family to get in the habit of carrying the entire kitchen sink for vacations (LOL). I was actually looking for something even smaller but then settled for this size.


Second: During my comparison, the positioning of the front of L is perfect that allows the air from the windscreen to flow over the box when placed appropriately since it doesn't protrude right up to or past the windscreen.

Three: Amazon had a used like new for around 500 bucks. When I received it, its brand new with minor packing damage. Since my order then I have seem many more "used like new" on Amazon from time to time - just have to keep an eye out for it.
