Dealer saying a few days after my build date the car should be in Orlando? Anyone with experience with FL deliveries. Selling my daily ahead of the X5 arriving. Dealer really low balling my M235 trade.

Once dispatched it should be there in a day or so depending on stops along the way. I sold my Cayenne privately and drove a rental from Enterprise for a couple of wks.

Trucks from SC to ORL are typically 1-2 days, sometimes 3 days. It depends on how many stops along the way, though with X vehicles it's likely a full load just for your dealer.

As for your trade, they use the Black Book (I've bought several BMWs in ORL). It's based on auction prices, so it's not great. For my last two purchases, I got an offer from CarMax. The down side of selling to them is you lose the sales tax break on the trade. When I traded X5s, the CarMax offer was better by about the same as the sales tax. I tried using the offer as leverage and did get a $500 bump so trading was definitely the best deal. When I traded up my to my Z4, the CarMax offer was $1500 better than trading even with the tax figured in. So I sold it to CarMax a couple weeks before I got my new Z4.

In my situation, I also rented a vehicle for a couple of weeks before delivery. We have to remember that Florida is usually the last stop of truck deliveries on the way down from the north ports; your sales manager knows exactly what the truck is doing, and when is going to arrive.
As for trade ins, the FL dealers are notorious for not giving discounts, but for also giving low trade in $ on purchases. They rely on the "remember you save on the sales tax when you trade in with us", sales pitch. As many have attested too now days, checking your car trade value with CarMax is a must.
Best of luck!
