Parking assist going off automatically at low speeds unprompted

Recently, when I've come to stop at red lights while its snowing heavily outside, my parking assistant keeps going off. Its really frustrating. I have to manually turn it off by pressing the parking assist button but it turns on automatically again. It only goes away after I start driving.

We've had a lot of snow and my X5 has been covered in it due to recent ski trips. Any idea what could be causing this? I usually make sure the cameras are clean but are there any other sensors I should be aware of that might be getting blocked by the snow?

cleaning the cameras won't stop the PDC sensors from triggering the Parking Assistant as the cameras don't sense anything; they're just triggered if the PDC sensors are triggered

all those little small discs on the bumpers? those are what you should be clearing of snow...
