Hi Bimmers, new to the forum, just purchased a 2025 X5 M60i.
Could not get my IPOD to work in either the USB-A or USB-C..
So, I downloaded my music to a Fat32 flash drive. IT WORKS and SOUNDS SO MUCH BETTER than radio or Samsung bluetooth on the B & W.

i cannot get the voice command to play a song, artist or album. I AM hoping this is my operation error.

ANYONE having luck getting the voice command for USB music?
How about getting your IPOD to work?

Welcome to the forum. Are you playing a song from the fast drive when you ask it to play another?

Hey, nice to meet you! Yes, I have shuffle on but sometimes I want 'freebird' or 'comfortably numb' so while a song is playing i want to request another.
So are you hinting that I should stop what's playing first then voice request a new song?

So the usb music starts playing as soon I get in the car. Hit the microphone and said 'stop playing music' and it did..then said play 'free bird' and it replied 'ii cannot find that' then said 'play pink floyd' again 'I cannot find that'

All music file are stored simply under root on the usb drve

No, just the opposite. Wanted to make sure it was in that Media selection when you were asking it.

I have mine broken up in folders by album but what you are doing should work as far as I know. Maybe someone with an LCI can chime in.
