X5 M60i for X5MC - Advice
I have a 2024 X5 M60i that I picked up in July 2023. Blue/ all options and 7,800 miles. I try to keep it mind condition.
I want to trade it for the 24 X5MC. Local dealer in Baltimore quoted me 85K trade in value and $140,652 for the order. Interest rate quoted is 6.29% - 721 FICO. 60 months at $2,736/month. Rebate is $500. I havent negotiated yet. I figured I come here and ask the advice of the experts. What can I expect if I can negotiate? Thank you in advance. U |

I follow the market on LeaseHackr and don’t recall seeing an X5M going below MSRP for years. A quick check of the brokers there and all at at MSRP. Allocations are minimal.

Trade value is roughly 15% depreciation for a year. Pretty strong honestly. You've got kinda "meh" credit, 6% is very good for that.
That's a lot of money to upgrade to the MC. Only you can decide if it's worth it. |

Lots of good advice here. BMW of Towson offered 85K for the trade in.
But the good point is that it is not worth spending another 40K - 50K for the "upgrade". I Think ill start looking at 911 as a side car. Appreciate it. U |

Personally, I think OP would be making a horrible financial decision. $2700/mo is 911 territory. Nice 911 territory too. But I'm not one to dissuade someone from getting what they want at a price THEY can afford. Life is too damn short. Lost an aunt out of the blue a month ago. 65 and healthy. Gone. So if you can make it make financial sense, f*** it. Have at it and have fun. If I were in OP's shoes, I'd go for a pre-LCI with low mileage and try to come out on top with a wash on the trade and maybe Section 179 it if you have a business.

I agree, for that type of car note, upgrading simply isn't worth it financially. if I were you id look for a Pre LCI model maybe.
if that isn't an option, 911 it is lol. A turbo S will be my next car alongside my X5MC.
