2020 M50i Steering Wheel help
Picked my new '20 X5 M50i. I'm bit confused on buttons on left side of wheel. My X5 did not have any printed manual, dealer is looking planning on replacing. In the short while I've driven, it's def alot of new tech coming from my F15 X5...similar but way more in every way imaginable. I am very tech savy. I've signed in to my previous BMW connected acct. car seems to sign in ok. but unless I'm imagining I keep going back to guest profile when I get in the X5. I recently dived into cars settings/keys and saw box was not selected for my profile so I am hoping that resolves that. Apple car play seems stable. I am slightly confused going back and forth to iDrive. I've done it but it does not seem easy or I'm getting lost in a setting as I can't do that switching from idrive to applecar play.
Anyway I'm confused on the symbols like LIM or LM top right.? Set is to set cruise and i get RES Cancel...I know the toggle switch is for car distance when engaged. Mode and the middle lower button I am understanding is engaging ACC w/ and w/o autonomous drive and LKA. Can anyone clear me up the functions here. BTW my software is on 7/2019.55 lame pics for now...car is getting window tint and PPF also ceramic on wheels and blue calipers. outgoing good friend space gray x5

LIM is Speed Limiter. Set it on a speed and the car will not exceed that speed. |

Hey Scott, congrats on the new ride! I had the same issue driving home from dealer and pushing every button trying to enable the cruise control. Finally referred to the online manual to figure it out.

Engine is amazing. Still getting comfortable with all the new tech I was having trouble keeping myself signed in with my connected account I think I may have straighten that out. Right now the car is getting paint protection film and ceramic coating for wheels to help with the brake dust pictures hopefully next week.
