Perhaps this is a dumb question but I really wanted to get a set of the 22" Pirelli AS tires (the Bentley ones) and Tire Rack only has the rear 315s in stock. An eBay shop in Italy claims to have the front 275s brand new so my questions are:

1) Is there a difference at all between EU and US made tires?

2) Could I match Italian 315s with US 275s? Potential for tires to be constructed differently somehow? Mismatch manufacture dates a concern?

3) Impeccable feedback from this Italian eBay shop, but any other reason to avoid?

Try to figure out why they are out of stock. I wanted the scorpion winters. 275's are in stock and 315's are not. Turns of Porsche gets first dibs. Totally sold out everywhere, but was able to reach out to Porsche and will have them in 4 days… Point being they might be in stock just from a different angle.

Did porsche mark them up or give you a decent deal?

TO sell a tire in the USA, it needs certain markings on it. I do not know if a tire intended for other markets will have those markings. If not, technically, not a good choice. That might depend on the manufacturer.
