New to the forum but not new to BMW (04' 745i SOLD and wife owns 19' X3 Xdrive30i).

Just placed order on 9/7/23 for X5 M60i in Carbon Black w/Coffee Sensafin and am currently sitting in "Scheduled for Production".

I actually saw you post a pic of it in another thread! Did you go with red calipers? I chose the red, I think it really pops off the carbon color, especially in person.

Wife decided on red. Went back and forth with blue, but she was afraid it might clash with carbon exterior. I think either looks great.

I did red calipers on my CB, and I'm happy with that choice.

With the shadowline, CB paint, and darker windows, the red adds some contrast when you look at the car from the side.

Not my best pic, can get another one. I absolutely love the deep metallic blue carbon black offers. I think the red calipers certainly pop better.

What wheels did you go with?

I went with the 742M, same as yours.

I love the photo and I'm glad I went with the same design. I was between the CB and Skyscraper (They had both colors available on lot for me to compare) but ultimately went with CB. It was difficult finding the exact design photos online of the CB w/ red calipers and 742M wheels so I was just going off the website rendering, but now looking at yours I'm glad I made the decision.

Beautiful. Great combo with Carbon Black, red calipers, and the 742Ms. Mine is identical except X6.

How do you like coffee interior with the CB exterior?

I actually went Tartufo. I had it on my M3 and love it. Pictures have a hard time capturing its true color.

I’ve gotta say the merino leather is so soft. Can’t speak for sensafin as I haven’t felt it in person, but I do like its pattern.

Ah yes. Gorgeous. I wanted the Tartufo, but got outvoted by spouse. It is her car after all. So will settle for coffee.
