Hi all. I have an order in for an X5 xDrive40i in Daytona Violet currently in status 111. I am wondering if anyone has else has an individual order in that they are waiting for. As I understand it, they batch the individual builds so my thinking is that we can compare and hopefully get a better idea of our build week.

My order went in at the end of March. According to BMW Genius, my car was initially slotted for a week 23 build, eventually went to a week 29 build and as of of speaking with them earlier today is showing week 32. Has anyone heard any different?

Would love to hear what spec you ordered as well!

I ordered a 2026 X5 this past weekend with a 112 allotment. My sheet was showing build week 30

Congratulations! Is it an individual build? Otherwise wait times are much shorter.

I believe it is…then again this is my first time doing this. I did a custom build online and had them put it together and put in the order. Is there a way to tell if it’s not?

Individual orders are orders with custom paint colors, rather than the standard ones that can be ordered normally/ configured online.

What color did you order?

I ordered the Mineral Metallic White so definitely not Individual. Thanks for explaining that
I’m going to follow up with my sales person today and find out what the deal is. I’ll let you know if I get a different build week

Allocations haven't been issued for that far out so you can't be scheduled for week 30. Give genius a call and see what production week they give you.

Keep in mind the build week may jump around a bit until you get to status 150, I believe. TurtleBoy please correct me if I am wrong on that.

It happens once in a while but for the most part it does not. Once you get to 150 your production will can move back and forth and if you are on the cusp of a week you may go between two of them.

But until 150 it is fairly fluid?

Yes, Individual are totally different. For normal orders there is a production week attached to the allocation and that is pretty accurate except for changes when there are supply chain or production issues/gains.

I ordered an Individual Build on March 24th and received an Order number immediately. I called Genius a couple of weeks ago and was given Production Week 28 (July 6th). I then checked with the dealer who placed the order a week later and was told Production Week 29. Here's my order:

Nice spec! My order went in a few days after you. Can you check with genius and see where they have you now? I was week 29 2 weeks ago but was told 32 yesterday.

That is really odd as allocations don't go out that far as far as I know. Could be something in your build is holing it up. Hopefully it comes back into June.

Nice! I saw someone else posting on a Facebook group about an individual x5 to be built in July. It feels like the production week should be solid at this point! Fingers crossed it won’t be pushed back any more.
