Going Staggered on 2020 xDrive40i?
Howdy,
My 2020 X5 has the 20" 740M wheels. I don't not have a staggered setup now. I am debating a new set of BMW wheels I found that are all black, new tires... still 20" but are a staggered setup (275/40r20 Front 315/35r20 Rear). The question.... is it stupid or unadvisable to do a staggered setup on a 40i? It seems I only see them on the V8s or M cars. Also I have the 2 axle air suspension if it matters on having that fatter tire in the back. Thanks in advance for any thoughts, Rayo |

The 40i 21” and 22” oem wheels are staggered. The 20” 740 wheels in Europe also come staggered. So, as long as the offsets are appropriate, there would be no problems going to a staggered setup on your car.
The air suspension doesn’t make a difference in terms of whether or not you stagger the wheels. |

My 45e has standard air suspension and came with the (in Europe) standard staggered 740M wheels. Front 275 back 305 (315 is for 21 and 22 inch). So it is no problem. What 20 inch BMW wheels are you looking at? Powder coated 740M? |
