Rear seat buckle change
So today the rear buckle played up - thought the mrs was having a laugh when she said it wouldn't go in.
Anyway, attempted to place the belt buckle into the restraint and it wouldn't go in at all. Seems to be a little plastic that stops it. Moved it out the way and still no luck. Looks like it needs to change. Found some close by second hand but just wanted to make sure it wouldn't bring up any dash lights/errors as there seems to be a little wire connected to it. Any thoughts?

This happened to two of mine and I too thought user error (kids).
There was some little piece of plastic that broke off inside and it gets in the way for it to latch. i was able to get the small broke piece out and it all works again.

I can see a little plastic bit in the middle, but that seems to retract in.
I manually retracted it in but then it doesn’t click in place fully.
