i went with a Dinan piggy back. it is exactly the same cables and case as a Racechip, obviously made at the same factory. the tuned results seem much the same as well. No problems with it so far, and i have it for about a year now.

So you got the Dinan Piggyback on your 2024 mild hybrid X5M ? Because I'm wondering you know if these new X5M 2024 are capable of being tuned

Here my ‘24 x5m on map 3. We are battling some throttle movement (probably because of my exhaust setup), but I’m about to move to the EWG connections.

That's awesome yeah, cause my tuner said they asked bootmod3 And they said that they can fiddle with the 2024X5M but my tuner said that my ECU has to be unlocked And I've asked FemTuvo and they're like no go! So can I just tune her with bootMod3 or what because she has the mild hybrid? Thanks for all your information.

I have pre lci and there’s fine built in delay to the throttle input in comfort. In the next two sport modes it’s much less. This is a deliberate design design built into the factory tune much like alot of other cars. The thinking is to try to give normal humans a chance not to wreck their powerful cars by all that instant power. I’m assuming based on lci owners input here they have decided to eliminate it in comfort mode as well now. Completely a tune thing from factory. There’s no accident involved. They know what they are doing and it’s intentional. No big deal.

Definitely, possible. My goal is a 10 on map 3. I’m still figuring out how to properly launch the car. It launched really hard and will spin all 4 with lower temps. It has low 11s with my trap speed now. I also have removed my secondary card and built a custom 3” connecting pipes because there are not any available yet. You’re welcome! I’m not moving to map 4 until I can figure out this throttle movement. It’s going to take some custom settings.
