Not in anything I have seen, it is the same engine/tuning as far as I know.

Does anyone know for sure what build date MY'21 Started?

I have an incoming '21 and I'm curious if it will come with the new Apple Car Key functionality ( I am a sucker for gimicks ) for sure or not.

i believe MY21 G05 builds either hit the dealerships or began being built in July 2020. your incoming MY21 should come with iPhone Digital Key compatibility as that feature was released with July 2020 vehicles onwards.

I'm hoping it's worth the extra cash, especially as I had to order the glass roof as well to have B&W

i have a previous generation F15 with the HK system and the g05 with the B&W system. at conversational volumes, they both sound the same but the louder you play it, the better it sounds. its a system worthy of a luxury suv. I dont think a single person who opted for the B&W system has any regrets and i highly doubt you will either. it really is a marvelous system. when you get it, listen to it. loud. then go into any other vehicle and try that same song at anywhere close to that same volume and you will instantly know

still no ETA for U.S.-based 45e. some EU-based 45e have been able to option HK recently (country dependent)

Hey Guys!

Hope everyone is doing fine.

I have ordered my new BMW X5 45e in October 2021 and I couldnt be more excited to get it.

However a few delays have occured and I just want to share my story to see if you guys have some more info or if someone else is i n the same situation

So, as I have said, I ordered the car on W41-2021 and the car went on production on W47-2021. I had an estimated delivery date of W5-2022.

Later on, the car came from the USA to Germany and went into the factory for "quality control".

After I got some ambiguous reply from the sales person, I realized that the car had components missing and that it was held up there because it was not finished.

It then got pushed to be delivered on W8-2022.

The car left the production line on W9-2022 and I was told that it was finished.

Now, BMW Portugal says that they do not have any date to give because the factory does not give them.

The dealership said that it has a lot of cars still in Germany and that they not have a date to deliver the car.

What is wrong with the delivery system and someone is experiencing the same?

If I had to guess I would say it was damaged in shipping and then are waiting/waited for parts. My advice would be just to wait it out, no need to stress over it. If it was damaged it will be fixed just like new so that won't be a problem. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

I just learned M50i does not have fog lights, no air suspension, and no soft closing doors, plus no luggage curtain hiding in the floor option.

not here in the U.S. but ur in Singapore so much different market. not even an option for X5 (standard only on 45e).

you can run your VIN through a decoder. I believe the metal placard on the driver side B pillar shows your MY

I think it's a MY22, i got "Production Date 2022-04-11 (Monday)" from the VIN Decoder.
