So this is my favourite leather choice for the G05 I'll be ordering in the next few weeks. I've been unable to see this colour in the flesh so far after visiting 2 dealers. The leather sample in the showroom looked way darker than Cognac but in all the pictures I've seem it's only slightly darker. I've searched the forums and see a few pictures and like them all;

So appreciate if you could post a picture or too to help please. I've going White or Photanic Blue paint.

Love it. The sample in the showroom was more brown and less orange.

can someone please send Tartufo Extended Merino Leather with Brown Ash Grain Wood Trim? I ordered this combo on Phytonic Blue - not sure I have seen this combo.... Thanks!

Its an awesome color, was my top choice I just couldn't find one spec'd they way I wanted with that color and didn't want to wait on a build.

It is indeed an awesome color. It is definitely more on the orange side so it is nice that BMW gave us a light and dark option for brown merino (coffee and tartufo).

I have an carbon black metallic and tartufo merino on order. Had a really difficult time picking trim. Ended up with the aluminum tetragon. Wish the carbon was available on the 45e.

We have Mineral White with Tartufo with Brown Ash.

First, pictures are all over the map and therefore not particularly useful. Indeed, most pictures tend toward an "orange" and that is not at all the case.

Tartufo is a darker, but not dark, shade of tan. Someone said it looks like Hermès’ tan leather and I think that is a pretty good comparison.

If you're looking for a good tan you cannot go wrong with Tartufo.

I also have a Carbon Black and Tartufo on order.
Ended up going with the anthracite-brown poplar matte finish wood trim.

I know its not the answer you want to hear, but I would advise keep looking around and seeing it in person. The wife and I were going to change from Black to a different color based on the pictures we were seeing, but wanted to see it in person before we requested the change and we were happy we did because we decided to keep the black after. Like you, we couldn't find another X5 with the color combination but we saw it in an X7.

Agreed. I'm going for a test drive at another dealer next Saturday so might be lucky.

But the lore pics the better so keep them coming please folks

That's what I ordered. No idea why they don't let you order that combo in the US. That said, one of the 45e I test drove had Tetragon, and I liked it as well.

The carbon fibre trim looks nice, but on the other you can consider it a bit misplaced in any X5 that isn't the X5M. And with darker leather I really would have selected Tetragon - it does lighten up the interior, you have less issues with finger prints, and also it does have a nice texture.

If the car turns up next week and the dealer tells me they have messed up and swapped Carbon Fibre for Tetragon I won't lose sleep over it.

Oh, btw.: I had an E39 with carbon black exterior and extended cinnamon leather inside - cinnamon was even a bit more orange than tartufo. Absolutely gorgeous combination.

Fineline brown trim, I felt compliments the darker pumpkin color of the leather. Agreed that pictures are difficult to represent IRL, my opinion it appears a bit darker/more rich looking than photos.

My next car's seats will be black. I was pleased to purchase tartufo merino, but the care is difficult. Despite using Gyeon leather shield on all of my seat surfaces, I still got dye in the lumbar area, most likely from my black leather jacket, which I wore only a few times while driving.

Same situation here, these pics are very helpful. Does anyone have it with the aluminum mesh? Only have found on the forum with coffee, or the tetragon trim.

are you going to order M-Sport package? As I know you can't combine Aluminum Dark Mesh Interior and M-Sport package.

Go to X5 Configurator , choose M-Sport and try to add Dark Mesh it automatically changes M-Sport to XLine.
