Its a style for muscle cars and they are just trying to market towards their demographic, nothing more unless notarized.

Oh, and its rubbish in this type of application.

Bad-ass sled. I saw a "black cherry" factory colored one at the LA Auto Show.... sweet. The CTS-V is gonna be nice, but has anybody seen the depreciation on the older model? Yikes.

I just hate the rear of the car.

I know...I'm not stupid. But seriously, the bulge isn't so much of a power bulge as it is a raise of the entire hood. It doesn't work on the IS-F, and I don't think it works on the CTS-V. If it needs it then that's one huge-ass supercharger.

While I doubt the S/C is that big, it's better to have the flowing hump then what BMW did with the M3. Have a nice smooth hood then have this hump come out of no where. We're all arguing subjective points though. I didn't mean to imply that you were stupid. I was just pointing out the bulge has a purpose and isn't there for purely cosmetics like fake air scoops.

Oh sorry, I get defensive about the most trivial things at times . You're right, this is a subjective point. I'm just used to the smaller power bulges I guess.
