Thanks
![]() Interestingly enough it no longer borrows the X5's grille, as this one doesn't descend as low as the licence plate and is filled with fewer slats. I'm not sure whether Palbay has already posted the rear end as well but here it is: |

Having seen the new 8er and now this X6, one might speculate that BMW wants to set their coupé/SAC models apart from their sedan SAV/counterparts with lower and sleeker grilles. However the new X4 got the same high grille as the X3, and we do know that the next 4er will have a huge vertical grille borrowed from the 3.0 CSL Hommage Concept. So there doesn't seem to be any consistency as to exactly which model types do and which do not get these new high grilles BMW has been introducing, rather they seem to be following a case-by-case design policy.

I prefer the classic round exhaust pipe tips of the X4.

GLE Coupe and Q8 are way better looking. BMW has never been able to get the X6 right.

The front we know will look very similar to the X5 but if the rear is a more aggressive and muscular X4 rear, it's going to be the winner in my books.

While I do like the looks of the GLC and GLE Coupes, the Q8? The Q8 just looks like a big Q5 with a ridiculously, hideously oversized grill. Doesn't look "coupe-ish" at all, I'd take the new X5 or X7 over the Q8, let alone the X6.

Wait, people like the GLE Coupe?!
I just assumed that people bought them because they had great lease deals or they lost a bet. |

I, and many others think the X6 looks better, inside AND out, than the GLE Coupe. Then there are those who prefer the looks of something else. Variety is a good thing. Keeps things fresh and keeps competition on their toes.

That is a good question... probably because size wise it fits between the X5 and X7....

Crap, looks like they're gonna do the same thing they did with the X4 and try to graft the rear lights from the Z4 and 8 Series onto the back of it
![]() As was stated earlier, I think the E71 looks much better than the F16 and this looks like it'll look worse than both of those. I wish they wouldn't be copying the disgusting Merc trend of trying to mush the same rear light shape into each body style, it really doesn't work
