Post your Draggy or otherwise recorded 0-60mph (0-100kmh) and 1/4 mile times here.

I did a 0-60 earlier but no launch control, DSC off, Sport+. The car didn't shift as fast from 1st to 2nd which was odd. I also had my spare tire in the trunk and some groceries so that surely didn't help! I'll run some more with better conditions because I know it'll do sub 4.3s 0-60 stock.

Please add DA data too for reference

edit: picture won't attach right now, I'll add it later.

Until I add the pics recorded 0-60 (very bad run) 4.48s

I took a video of the cluster while doing an acceleration test (on a closed course ) and using launch control and sport mode. Using video editing software, I've estimated it went 0-60 in 5.2s. This is a 40i.

Draggy, it requires their sensor which uses GPS and an accelerometer (for G forces)

One press of the traction button put the car in sport+, gear lever in S, left foot on brake firmly, right foot floored on the gas, launch control message pops up release the brake and go

One thing to keep in mind is that launch control will only activate if the vehicle has been driven a few miles since starting the engine (5 or 6 I think?). I don't think it matters if it's already warm either. One time I had driven for two hours, stopped for gas, and then tried launch control right after leaving the gas station and it didn't work.

that's odd. I've had better times with DSC off vs launch control but it's too cold for my summer tires to do a run right now. this afternoon it'll be 80F so that'll be much better

Surely, you guys are doing this after the 1,500 mile break in period, right?

I tried launch control for the first time at like 1,201 miles

Break in is 1,200 miles, not 1,500 right?

Think you may be correct. Saw both numbers reported early on.

I noticed some hesitation in the 1-2 upshift only when I had launch control active. For some reason, it felt like the shifts were much quicker not using launch control. I only did three runs so maybe it was a freak thing.

I'm at 1000 miles for the record and good luck I hope you can. I think the shifting is what's hurting times the most. my best run so fast is 4.47s I'm hoping to get to 4.1s but I'm not sure what else can be done. lauches are better with DSC off which isn't really launch control

The X5 simply doesn't shift as fast as my X3 M40i did even in manual mode

Posting a great time requires a fair amount of luck since there are so many factors involved. If you think about it, 0.1 or 0.2 seconds is such a minuscule period of time that one little thing here or there can be the difference between a 4.4 and 4.2.

Yes and no, even with a lot of luck and testing even my M50i would only post 4.4s at best but I think I need a proper surface for better grip too

How much gas in your tank? In my experience, that can make a huge difference. On a side note, I worked with my neighbor with his new Z51 to get a decent time. That was like pulling teeth. He had to work to get a real world 0-60mph under 5 seconds. All kinds of issues with hooking up, and shift rates. It wasn’t a easy car to get to go fast from a stop. His RS3 would crush his Z51 in 0-60mph. Just look at how hard a Hellcat is to get a respectable real world 0-60mph.

1/3 right now, removed the spare tire, ran a 4.47s 0-60 earlier this morning after warming up the tires. We only have 91 octane though for the record

That will make a difference. We run 93 to Sunoco 94 Ultra. My C4S loves the 94 octane. What was your outside temp and humidity rate when you did your morning run? Was your climate control completely off? Add a extra 5lbs of pressure to your tires. You wouldn’t believe what Mopar does to get their times.

There's maybe 1 station here with 93, I can stop by and add a few gallons depending on how much is in my tank to at least get 92 octane overall. Climate control was off, music off, roof closed, tires are at 39/45 front rear for the 21's.

Here's the DA data for this morning:

Later today when it's 80F the air density will go down to 85% so that won't help
