10% was a good discount on 2019 in June and I just recently saw another post from someone in US bringing up 5% discount on 2020 so I'd say you are getting a very good deal if it's indeed 2020.

I agree with the other post. It's better to provide more information here to determine whether the deal is really 9-10% because the dealer could have played some number games to make the percentage to look good. I posted my experience in the other thread. My CA initially gave me an "inflated" MSRP price as a starting point of negotiation and we got to about 9%. The CA then shot himself on the foot and I was able to catch him playing tricks on me. He later applied the 10% on the actual MSRP price. Mine is MY2019, ordered it during the last week of June 2019. |

Just joined the forum, so first post here. This seems like a very good deal. I was able to get just over 8% off MSRP on a 2020 40i with the following specs:
Carbon black Coffee Merino extended Driving assistance Luxury seating M sport Executive Air suspension Leather dash Acoustic glass Glass controls Heated seats / armrest B&W MSRP $84,395, less $7k before any BMW incentives. |

Invoice plus 7% is in Canada and even then there are variations, incentives to dealers on the top of that etc. general public will never see the whole picture. US is different universe they can already do 10% discounts on 2020

I tried to negotiate a 2019 50i knowing they will be eager b/c the 2020 will be rolling out soon. Best deal I got was 9.8% and that's with incentives. I didn't bite, but when the 2020s roll out, I'm not thinking they will be as aggressive. I guess when I'm ready to order I'll shop dealers and maybe even have to go out of state.

whats the rest of the deal look like? remember sale price is just part of the deal, especially if your leasing. I would get the full breakdown of the deal then post it up, then you can get the feedback and go from there

Build = 2019 50i M Sport MSRP = $96,545 (includes destination) Sale Price = $89,749 Finance incentive = $2,000 BMW Conquest incentive = $750 Total Purchase = $86,999 Total discount = 9.8% I think this was a very fair deal. I'm just struggling knowing people are getting 9% before incentives. This negotiation was over the course of 3 days. At the end BMW walked, so I guess this really was their bottom. |

I think it depends on the region. I was talking to my CA last month when mine was in for work and mentioned the discounts have really increased since I got mine. He said they have not changed there at all and are still topping out around 6-6.5%. In three years when I'm looking at my next one I will check with other dealers in the state also to see what they are offering.
