Just to chime in, coded my G05, 2019, 50i, with DA Plus (not Pro). Using Lightning Ethernet adapter, ENET cable, and iPhone X.
Coded: ASS, Tire Temperature, and ADV (single value changed (DKOMBI\CB_FZG_UMGEBUNG_FAS: aktiv [01]), and on restart showed up in driving assistance options to check). |

I had ASS set to "Not active" which disables ASS at startup (Comfort mode). However, after switching to Sports mode and back to Comfort ASS is back to active. Anybody observing the same behavior?

For me, after coding ASS memory not active, it only selects ASS active when in ECO MODEs, and not active again when I go back to the other modes. Did you code your setting with BimmerCode or manually with esys?

This view - I think you uncheck the display when active and then if it is set to central display area as assisted driving view it will stay on all the time - had mine like that for a bit.

There is not an always on setting, if you want it on make it look like the picture but uncheck the box for Display Driver Assistance view when driver assistance is active, then it will stay on all the time I think.

I have to say the ADV isn't particularly useful, I had hoped to see stuff coming in from behind/sides, but as it is, it just shows you what you can... already see. I mean it's sweet, but quite frankly the map is probably better, in the end...

Strictly speaking, it does show approaching cars in your blind spot, but they show very light and poorly visible, almost "tentative", you have to really look for it. Since it clearly senses the cars there, it would be good if BMW improved that interface to make the blind spot cars much more apparent. This seems par for course for modern BMW design — fantastic tech, absolutely shitty UX and UI.

I have 5AU, pre-12/18 build, so it's the DA Plus, not Pro. The only difference is the extended traffic jam assist at higher speeds. And I did end up enabling the two other bits (I couldn't find the PIA_ one in Bimmercode so I wasn't able to change it).

Just to be clear ADV cannot be coded with the BimmerCode App, correct?

DKOMBI ECU in Bimmercode Expert Mode: - go into Expert Mode in KOMBI ECU - search for each parameter (there is a search box) - change - Code
