Steering wheel button question?
Hi guys, trying to figure out these two buttons (the one above my thumb and to the right of it) and what they each do specifically. Also, do they need to be pressed every time my wife gets into the vehicle if she wants all the safety features ON. These two do not turn on automatically, she has to manually press them. Thank you! Sorry the pictures won’t rotate!

It's the controls for Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go function (ACC), Assisted Driving, Steering and Traffic Jam Assistant.
You really should download the drivers guide app or review the manual.

Adaptive cruise control = cruise control where the car will maintain a minimum set distance to the car in front. You steer, but the car will accelerate or decelerate depending on traffic up to the maximum speed set in your cruise control. Traffic Jam Assist = Adaptive cruise plus it will steer the car for you. Must touch the steering wheel periodically. Extended Traffic Jam Assist = Traffic Jam Assist on "restricted access" roads - I read this to mean highways. This is full autonomous driving up to speeds of 40ish mph. |

It's horrible. When my phone says LTE in Minnesota I get almost 100 meg over the air. When my phone says 5Ge, I get less than 50 meg.

Your right. The one above my thumb turns on the Assisted Driving. The button to the right of my thumb toggles between Assisted Driving and and Distance Control. Can you have both on at the same time?

You can only be in one mode at a time: 1. Cruise with distance control 2. Cruise with distance control and steering, need to touch the wheel every so often. 3. Cruise with distance control and steering, total hands free. |
