Thing is, the F95 is a lot more consistent than the Vantage. I can barely put the power down with the Vantage, even with R888's in the rear. It takes a few tries to get a perfect launch. Best I got with the Vantage was 3.2 0-60mph and 11.2 1/4 mile.

60-130mph, the vantage is 3 seconds faster though.
3.2 on vantage? wow. Is it the new one with AMG V8? Is it tuned?
Yes. JB4, 2nd cat delete (if that even does anything) and Toyo R888's.
Car was on 93 Oct and Boostane (octane booster that would translate to 100 oct) running on Map 6 (which is technically a map that recommends race gas).

It's not a "real world" number because the car will only do that in perfect conditions. It's a more road course oriented car / highway power. It is a GT at the end of the day...

Nice. My C63s can only do 4.2 or so, too much wheel spin. I need to change out the tires first. I've already installed intakes and catted downpipes.

Once I resolve the traction issue then I'll tune it. Even mid 3's is pretty awesome for rwd cars.

You could try get coding done that supports flaps always open in Sport and Sport+ for the F95. Or just try unplugging exhaust valves (when the car's off and flaps are set to open) to keep exhaust flaps open in all modes and see if that gives you more sound overall.

I tried it with my F80. After about 20 minutes of driving I missed being able to switch back to the quietness of closed flaps in Efficiency. With bm3 my Sport/+ flaps are set to always open though so I get the best of both worlds.

it seems like people keep missing that installing a racechip is like 20 minutes, tops, including the time taken to let the car go to sleep, and this won't likely trip the warranty goblins when you take your car to the dealership.

nobody installs a racechip expecting it to max out the performance of the vehicle for 7-800 dollars. that's silly.

Go for it!
Finally someone that understands !!!
I see you failed to read that "2 different class" comment huh? Lol... btw I'm sure once downpipes and other bolt on's are made for these trucks it can easily go 10's and yes the X3M will go even faster than the X5M... because it's lighter maybe? 🤯

What improvement would one expect 0-60 with a RC GTS on a TTV8 Suv? We hear lots of claims about this and that with all these various piggy backs but no real acceleration metrics.

I'm a little confused.
You're asking about Race Chip results in a thread that shows Race Chip results?
Or do you not know baseline numbers? Not being sarcastic, just confused with this post.

So let me break it down:

My personal stock times:

0-60mph: 3.77 seconds
1/4 mile: 11.7

After Race Chip:
0-60mph: 3.28 seconds
1/4 mile: 11.4

Sorry, I missed that stuff, thanks for posting. Looks like the Race Chip gave you some outstanding results. Your 0-60 improved by half a second, crazy. Tenths become hard to come by under 4 seconds. Wow!

Agreed. The annoying part is that you can't always hit 3.28 because it doesn't always allow launch control!

Without LC, the car does 0-60mph in 3.5, which is still fast, but not 3.2 fast...

Haha. Yeah, I didn't really care about the X3M. I wanted the luxury and comfort of the X5M, even if it meant giving up some acceleration.

90% of the time, I'm driving around NYC with clients. I'll take the X5 over an X3 for that.

Did a dyno today.
I will create a separate thread once I am finished with all the work.
Few things are lined up.

But here is the dyno sheet and IG post.

Note: It is on Mustang Dyno (known to give lower reading than DynoJet) and fueled by overpriced California 91 Octane at 100°F.

That is called a torque spike. Notice the difference is large in the beginning and comes way down over the rpm range. A flat torque curve is desired and considered the tuning goal. A torque spike is the exact opposite of what you want. Know that most tuners avoid torque spiking because it nukes trannies.

Exactly... and keep in mind he didn't do any mods yet besides RC, I said I wouldn't sell my F85 but ehhh... time to see if I can afford to purchase an F96 alongside the G80.

Father help me...🙏🏽😔 lol

524 HP base line on lower reading Mustang dyno in terrible heat and running lower octane fuel is impressive. Mustang dyno will generally read 10% less than a Dyno Jet. Give another 25 HP for better gas and lower air temps.
A Dyno Jet with 93 octane and at a reasonable temperature is going to read 600 whp at minimum.
Apply the old 15% parasitic loss rule of thumb and you are in the neighborhood of a motor that is coming from the manufacturer around 700 flywheel HP. You are going to need this type of power to hustle a 5300 lb vehicle(weight not including driver) to 60 MPH in the 3.6 or 3.7 second range.

Several have dynoed the M50i. Some good forum threads on the M50i. Most are getting (stock) at 536hp and 529ftlb on a MAHA. The M50i is heavily detuned leaving a lot on the table.

Maha reads very high. You can't compare Dynos from 2 different Dynos and on different days. Mustang reads extremely low. My 2018 M5 did 560 whp on a mustang Dyno.

Yea. There are a few on the forum with different dyno manufactures. They are all pretty close depending of temp and gas from what the multitude of tuner manufacturers are posting as their real world base line. What really goes nuts is after the tune. My take away is BMW sandbags it’s factory engine performance specs. There is a lot of safe HP and torque left on the table if you want it.

There are some good dyno videos out there starting to come in.
