I just read this entire thread. To me the X6 is the most beautiful car in the BMW line up. I ordered one, and I cant wait to receive it.
I really dont understand the negative opinions of so many in this thread. But, as it is often said, to each his own. Oh well, i will be a proud owner |

I have always liked the sporty look of the X6 and X4. But, they tend to be more money and there are never any incentives on them from BMW. Pickings were getting slim with 2021 models, but my dealer had 2 X6 40i left. One was blue and did not have driver assistance pro. Another black one did have it. I really wanted DAP so I got the black one.. It is not my first pick for color and I've never owned a black car before. But, I have to admit the black sapphire metallic is really very nice. I don't like the carbon black at all.
The 40i B58 engine is surprisingly good in this vehicle in terms of performance while still retaining very good fuel economy. Anyhow, here's my ride: |

Hello everyone.Happy New Year
Just received my 11/2020 X6 G06 xDrive35D M Sport import from Japan. I have an issue with the authorities as the vehicle was mistakenly registered with higher CO2 emissions than it is. The car is the 30D (B57 with 265ps / 620Nm) and in Japan was sold (just for marketing purposes) as 35D Instead of 172g/km they found in their databases the previous generation X6 35D and registered it with 217g/km! apart from the dramatic increase in road tax i might have other issues on the future with low emissions zones i will be able to go in the city etc. Link from official Bmw Japan site (now they have as 35D the new facelift 298ps version with mild hybrid) https://www.bmw.co.jp/ja/all-models/...iew.html#tab-0 Please i need the official BMW documents that indicate that the 2020 X6 xDrive35D has emissions of 172g/km. Thank you in advance Last edited by Mike_P; 01-14-2024 at 12:55 AM.. |

Ignition Interlock in 2025 X5 sDrive40i
I have to get an ignition interlock installed in a new BMW 2025 X5 sDrive40i that I just purchased. With this car, there is a 48V mild hybrid battery. The Ignition interlock device car installation tech mentioned that I would need to be able to install via 12V starter along with a few other things via 12V.
Has anyone every run into this, and do you think I would be able to still have this installed in my vehicle? It is required by DMV, so it will have to be in there for me to drive it. Can anyone help? Hoping also maybe someone has a Schematics write up for this vehicle |
