Hi everyone. First time poster here but I've been lurking daily since the touchscreen issue arose and appreciate the great discussion.

I ordered my X5 on November 8 and appear to have dodged the bullet. It was produced November 24 and does not have 6UY. Anyway, just providing another data point. I'll post another update to confirm it has touch and backup assist upon taking delivery here in Phoenix. Best of luck to others avoiding such an unfortunate issue.

Just took delivery of my X5 xDrive40i! She dodged the no touchscreen bullet, she has the digital key and the ambient lighting on the back of the front seats. She came about 1 month from placing my order.
Here’s a rough timeline for people who are curious:
10/27 - Order placed
11/5 - Got production number
11/8 - Production begins
11/20 - Build day! (Entering assembly line - awaiting carrier assignment)
11/29 - arrived at dealership!
11/30 - Picked up!

6. Select Inspect Element

Click on one of the "forward" sections with the large green bar beside it and there will be a series of dropdown menus.

Also make sure you refresh after you press F12.
