I have non acoustic glass and the window speed is very slow. Very annoyed. Do not see the advantage of a slow window speed. Passengers always ask if something is wrong with the windows.

Slow windows. Fast car. Can’t have everything.
My car left the factory Sunday. It takes about 10 hours from there to here. Car still isn’t at dealer. Now THAT is slow. |

Lmao ... probably not far from wrong. I’m going to send this to my dealer. I found a bunch of in-stock cars at dealers near and far. So I just texted my SA asking if I could swap if my car doesn’t arrive today. I’m beyond disappointed - well into annoyed territory. The car left the factory Sunday - BMW genius told me so on Monday morning. My dealer is small and out of the way. He hasn’t received any deliveries this week, so maybe they depot cars to this location and wait until they have a bunch. Thanks, Marty, for making me (and I’m sure others) get a good laugh out of this intolerable situation. |

I'm happy to report that after 3 years nothing has changed! another first world problem but definitely slow. Didn't notice it too much until I took it to a base this weekend. Guard followed the window all the way down. Pretty funny actually.

They're faster than a manual crank...remember those? And, with the one-touch, you don't have to hold it. A little slower is safer, even with the safety logic in there...less chance of bruising someone.

They are slow. However, so long as these windows don't fail like the BMWs of old, where the window regulators would regularly implode within a few years, I'm fine with the speed. In fact, maybe the speed is a result of them finally trying to address the notorious regulator issues that plagued all BMWs for a time.
